my wish as moon/ Valerie Sopher

at times

        opaque   at

              times sheer

                    see through me

                       always just out

                           of reach but chase

                              me anyway   with

                                out me  you come

                                  undone      I alter

                                   weather of moods

                                   illumine   dreams

                                   listen for love songs

                                  my dark side   like

                                 everyone else’s   just

                               space without light

                             full  I pour silver

                          into your vessels

                        I rule your

                  heart’s rhythm

             leave a friend

        return a

lover.
